On Thursday we woke up at three in the morning to see the sun rise at the top of a volcano called Haleakala. We were soooo tired but the view was gorgeous. A shuttle picked us up at our hotel and took us to the top. It was so cold we were wearing coats, jeans and gloves. 
After we explored at 10,000 feet we took a bike ride down to the bottom. The guide stopped at this beautiful view and had everyone take crazy pictures on the bike. We had fun.

Missing Hawaii today big time! Thank you so much for the good memories...too bad the bike ride isn't one of them. If only we had known about the cool tricks one could perform on those sweet bikes...
