Mr. and Mrs. Claus just came and visited our house to make sure we didn't have any last minute wishes. Oh how we love Santa Claus and his wife. Taylor and all the kids were so excited. Taylor said Mrs. Claus looked like Mia's mom. She also wondered where Santa's reindeer were. Lisa said they probably took their helecopter. What fun!

Lisa wanted to take family pictures all dressed up in our Christmas outfits. I have an app that will take a picture every 10 seconds so we were having fun during our photo shoot. I then used our app, Tubey, to put all the pictures in a video. Enjoy!

Another stop at Boardwalk Ice Cream Co

Our flight to Chicago was delayed today so we stopped off at the mall for a little Boardwalk Ice Cream Co. Today I had my ice cream smothered is caramel and then dipped in chocolate. Ooo, it was so good. You'll have to watch the video to see if the rest of the guys liked it. They still do not have dark chocolate in Utah. Let's make it happen Boardwalk!

Our Chistmas Train - another Davis family tradition

Voice recital for Kayla, Hannah & Morgan

Tonight was a voice recital for Kayla and Morgan. Their friend Hannah also performed and so I put a small clip of the three of them performing. For some reason it looks like Morgan's voice is out of sink with the video. They did a great job!

Christian got a model rocket kit for his birthday and today we finally did it. It was so much fun. It reminded me of Sean and I launching rockets at Foothill High School. We sent it up five times. All the neighbor kids were out with us. Good times!

We woke up today to 2:45am to see the sun rise on Haleakala. Christian was car sick and ended up vomitting. In the bathroom - thank you Lord. We had a good time. It was cold but beautiful.

The next chapter in our weight loss challenge

So I finally hit my goal and took back some money from these two yeahoos. We are trying to lose 4 pounds every two weeks. The weight loss has to be off the lowest weight we have on record. We bet $10, so it there is one winner he gets $20. And that's just what I did today. What is my secret you ask? I take Nuriche from Christina Hales, Wendy has me eating protein shakes and fish oil, I try to eat under 2000 calories a day, I work out 5 times a week....and an occasional Five Guys Burger. Don't judge!

Morgan's Mother's Day Off Spa

Morgan, with Kayla's help, put together a spa for mom tonight. They cleaned and scrubbed her feet, rubbed and massaged her back and gave her a facial. She was fully pampered. In my selfish little mind I'm thinking "This could really be good for me!"

Hike to Stewart Falls

Today we went to Sundance and rode the lift up the mountain and hiked to Stewart Falls. It is so beautiful up there. It rained on us a bit when we were coming back but is wasn't bad. We were all worn out by the time we finished. Here are a bunch of pictures from our trip.

Christian and I took an ATV ride from Springville Canyon all the way to Daniel's Summit. It was close to 25 miles. Tom and Nathan Hawks went with us. When we got there we had their famous half pound Summit burger. Oooo! It was soooo goood!

At dinner Lisa thought Morgan's mouth looked big. Then she was wondering who's mouth was biggest. So she took pictures of everone with their mouths wide open. We were out four wheeling today so all our hair is messy and funny looking. After the pictures were taken we were laughing so hard looking at them. Oh, we were dieing. So here they are.

Morgan and Kayla rolled their ATV. Don't freak out they're ok. They stopped half way on a hill and tried to back up off the hill. As they were backing up they turned and it flipped over. I think it somewhat landed on Morgan but they both got up from it without anyone moving the ATV. So we are getting them checked out. Kayla sprained her wrist and Morgan is just banged up. They are going to X-Ray her back just in case. They're both laughing so I think they are fine.

We have a cherry tree in our backyard and the kids have been picking cherries for the last couple days. Morgan wanted to sell the cherries so Kayla and Morgan made 39 bags of cherries to sell. On their first trip out they sold 15 bags at $2 a bag. Pretty cool!

Art City Days

Every year Springville has a celebration called Art City Days. They have a carnival, talent shows, fun runs, music and all sorts of activities for a week. Today we went to the carnival and rode some rides. It was right next to our house so we rode our bikes down. When we were coming back it started to rain and now it's pouring down. We timed it right! :)

My cousin Randy was in a choir that performed in the tabernacle at Temple Square. It was a great performance. A bunch of family met at the Lion House and had dinner before the performance. We then took some pictures of the kids and enjoyed the music. The flowers are in full bloom at Temple Square and just gorgeous.

Fishing up Hobble Creek canyon

Saturday we took the family up the canyon to this little pond to go fishing. Sean and his two boys were up there camping for "Father and sons" so they came too. Taylor caught the first fish. Kayla and Morgan both caught a fish too. All the boys were out of luck. It was really fun.

1st Grade Graduation

Christian graduated 1st grade today. We went to his school program where his class sang and told us what they did this year. All our children are growing up so fast. Kayla our oldest is in junior high next year. How crazy is that?

Sailing in the Gulf

Lisa and I rented a sail boat and cruised around the Gulf of Mexico. We got a quick lesson and then we were on our own. We had so much fun. That was one of the best things we did on the island. It is so fun just being with Lisa. She makes everything a blast!

Airboat Ride

Lisa and I went on an airboat ride today. We had a blast. We saw dolphins and a racoon. We drove down the road and saw a ton of gators. We had dinner in Naples and then drove around looking at all the beautiful houses. This is a great place.

Sunday at Davinci's

Today we had a wonderful breakfast buffet and headed to church. In Springille you are almost lucky if you get a seat at church. Our ward is packed wall to wall with members. The ward we visited today was half empty. It took us twenty minutes to get to the closest building. We are so lucky to be able to walk to church in Springville. The spirit and testimonies were the same though and that's what really matters. After church we layed out and read our books. It's so nice to just relax. For dinner we walked to this excellent restaurant called Davinci. We had pasta and pizza and warm chocolate cake. We're stuffed!

Today Lisa and I started our day working out but it didn't take us long to find some good food. We pretty much just hung out at the pool and read our books today. It was nice and relaxing. We had dinner on a ship that took us all around the island and we watched the sun set.

Marco Island, Florida

Lisa and I are in Florida right now for our 16 year anniversary. We decided to go to Marco Island. We are staying at the Marriott resort right on the beach. It is so beautiful. I thought I would share our trip through an app that my company made called Tubey. It makes a video of your still images and then posts it to YouTube, your blogspot blog and Facebook. You probably have seen some of my test videos already. Anyway, we are trying to get the word out about Tubey. If you have any friends with iPhones make sure to tell them about our app. Thanks!

Sunday Bike Ride

It was so nice today we had to go for a bike ride. This was our first bike ride that Taylor could ride on her own bike. She loves to cruise around on her bike, we just can't get her off of it. Lisa spoke today in church and did a wonderful job. She spoke on angels. She is such a good speaker. Especially when she is saying nice things about me.

Today Sean and I took the kids up the canyon and went ATV riding. It was a bit muddy and the farther we went up the mountain the more snow we ran in to. Christian rode with me and Sean's kids took turns riding with him and on the kids bike. It was so fun to get out. I can't wait for the summer!

Yesterday we were down in St. George and we had In-N-Out. I have a double double animalized. Ooooh it was so good. I just love that place. I can't wait for the Draper store to open up.

Easter Dinner

We went to the Potts house for Easter dinner. The Montgomerys come too. We had turkey, ham and all the fixings. We love being with friends.

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

The Romneys put together a neighborhood Easter egg hunt. There were about 20 kids there. We had a little breakfast treat in the morning and then went to the hunt. The kids loved it. There was a big prize for the person who found the special Red egg and Morgan found it. Fun!

Morgan's Birthday

We took Morgan and a bunch of her friends sledding in Midway. We had a great time. It was actually raining on us but we didn't care. We warmed up by the fire after and had hot chocolate. Then we opened presents. What a day!

We went to the St. George parade of homes this year with the Herdes. We saw so many awesome homes. I would love to live in St. George someday.

Our friends the Farris' have a home in Hurricane. It is right next to Sand Hollow Reservoir. Last summer we went down and went boating together. What fun we had!

Christmas 2008

This is the first year that Lisa and I had Christmas with just our family. We had a great time. We had a wonderful dinner and then had our Christmas program. Each member of the family took a turn during the program. The kids couldn't wait to open up gifts. The next morning Santa came and the kids received more gifts. We had such a great time.

Last summer the Montgomerys invited us to stay at their Las Vegas time share. We swam and layed out in the sun. We love hanging out with the Montgomerys.

Last year we went to Flaming Gorge boating and camping. We went with our good friends the Hawks'. It was so beautiful. We had the best time.

Christian had a Hapkido test to advance to the next belt. He is currently a blue belt and would advance to brown. He has been doing Hapkido for a couple years now. He just signed up for Haidong Gumdo (sword fighting.)

Last Sunday we went over to Tom and Kims house for dinner. We had hamburgers and fruit. And for dessert we had dark chocolate brownies with chocolate chips. We love it!

My lease on my truck came up this month so I dropped it off and got into an Audi. I leased an A4 and I love it.
