The Active Challenge - Week 5

This is my week 5 update for The Active Challenge. I worked out five days and even went on a family bike ride tonight. My eating was good during the week and the weekend comes. I have lost four, close to five pounds since I started the Active Challenge. I can now run over two miles which is huge for me. That's my update!

Taylor's first single! She bugged me all day to record het and put it on fb so Rob could see it. She is soooo funny! She thinks she sounds like Selena Gomez!

The Active Challenge - Week 4

This was another crazy week for me. I got home from vacation and started eating and working out really good at the begining of the week and then we had our company retreat. It's basically three days of eating and planning. We did workout two of the three days. I ran outside again and it kicked my butt. Sean and I started lifting weights again and my muscles were so sore. For anyone interested they are doing a second active challenge. Check it out at www.theactivechallenge.com

Priesthood lesson - Prayer

So today I taught the priesthood lesson on prayer. I wanted the Elders to feel how Heavenly Father feels when we pray to him. So I filmed as many children of the Elders as I could and asked them questions. I asked why they were thankful for their dad, what they wanted, what they were sorry for and why they loved their dad. I think it turned out good. Anyway, if you're interested here's the clip.

Boardwalk Ice Cream at The Irvine Spectrum

We took the girls to the Irvine Spectrum to get a Boardwalk Ice Cream. They dip ice cream in chocolate (I had dark, thanks Josh) and then smother it in toppings. It is so good. You've got to try it out!

The Active Challenge - Week 3

I worked out a lot this week but I ate a lot this week too. This is not good. I'm just going to have to get serious again. My vacation's over and it's go time!

Lifeguard tryouts at Crystal Cove

Lisa and I walked down to have breakfast at the Beachcomber this morning and they were holding lifeguard tryouts. Lisa loved all the hot bodies and I loved the food. :) It was fun!

We went to Laguna Beach today and Grandpa bought Christian a kite. He was having a blast flying the kite. This is a cute clip.

Katie, Kayla, Maddie and Morgan played and sang Candle on the Water. They did a great job! It's so fun to watch them sing.

The Active Challenge - Week 2

This is my update for week two of the Active Challenge. I worked out really hard Monday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday ate way to much food. Sunday ate even more food but worked out tonight. It felt so good. I have yet to run outside. The weather in Utah stinks, it snowed 4" today. I'm spending the week in California this week and hope I can get out a run a mile. That's my update!

Easter egg hunt with 13 cousins

We are at my parents house down in California today. We had an Easter Egg Hunt with all 13 cousins. Fun! Fun! The weather is wonderful.
